Corrosion-resistant screw for seawater "MS (Marine Stainless) -270"
Achieving excellent corrosion and acid resistance in seawater! Screws that suppress localized corrosion!
Seawater utilization devices, marine structures, and food machinery have all been subjected to salt damage, as well as environments with chlorine, such as hot water pools and septic tanks, where various stainless steels have been employed. However, conventional stainless steels are prone to localized corrosion in solutions containing chloride ions, such as seawater, and in chlorine environments, which limits their use and necessitates frequent maintenance. MS-270 is an austenitic stainless steel that exhibits superior resistance to chloride corrosion and stress corrosion cracking compared to SUS316 and duplex stainless steels. By adding molybdenum, nitrogen, and copper to high chromium and high nickel, MS-270 is a special stainless steel that significantly enhances corrosion resistance. In addition to its resistance to chloride corrosion, it also excels in acid resistance. MS-270 enables the realization of maintenance-free applications. ● For other functions and details, please refer to the catalog.
